FIFA 17 is a football video game/football simulator in the FIFA series. FIFA has been around since 1993 and come out pretty much every year, each year adding in new features. FIFA 17 include new attacking techniques, physical player overhaul, active intelligence system and set piece rewrite and even a new single player campaign called the journey, the player becomes Alex Hunter, a young footballer trying to make his mark in the Premier League. Survival / Horror:
survival horror game which is a genre of games and as the name implies involves you the player keeping the protagonist safe and alive as the game tries to scare you. These games try to scare you with either horrific graphics such as gore and blood making you think that these horrible things will happen to you or it'll use the ambiance to give the player an ominous feeling making you jump at everything because you don't know when it comes. these games can have some sort of combat but FNAF does not which is also a classic because all you can do is sit there and feel helpless.
Survival horror games are a sub-genre of horror games, where normally you can’t fully arm your character making you not want to fight against the horrible or grotesque enemies, they do this by making ammo or weapons in general very limited, the enemies too powerful to kill but making it so you can keep them at bay. The protagonist that you play as far more vulnerable or weak because you usually play as a normal person such as in FNAF you play as an average guy or in the survival horror game SOMA you play as a random guy who lives as normal life and then you just randomly wake up in the middle of nowhere. in games like these you sometimes have to lead the opponent around the environment and use that to stall or attack them, these games can also have an emphasis on time and how quick you can do something. The enemies and environments of this sub-genre of game are usually dark and horrifying yet slightly realistic and the enemies are also the same an example of games that are like this is Outlast where you go to an asylum which are in real life and is thought to holy crazy psychopaths. The games play on your anxieties while playing and lure you into the enemies which are hidden away in the darkness because of the camera angles that they use. The audience of these games includes a lot of different people since it plays on people’s fears and gives people adrenaline so these games are usually played by young adults of both genders. the genre hasn't massively changed over the years since people fears haven't changed themselves but when something starts to become popular e.g. zombie’s survival horrors use them as a theme.
The enemies show below are quite terrifying and are also based in a dark place to increase the atmosphere. these horror games also use dark murky colours such as black, dark green and a dark orange.
the narrative of survival-horror games usually tells the narrative of a game where the odds are against you in a fight and you are an underdog against truly monstrous foes. these games usually start with an average guy or girl investigating a situation which escalates such as when in Outlast you're a journalist going to investigate an abandoned asylum but encounters mutated maniacs including a bulky one who is impossible to kill. Silent Hill which was released in 1999 was praised for using almost new tactics and non-conventional elements that were used in horror games and instead started using psychological style which was primarily used in Japanese horror such as Yokai and other monsters which are used, a good example of Japanese horror is the movie "Ring".
gender in survival horror is pretty much the same since no matter which gender you are you're treated as defenceless and in the few where you do fight you're using weapons so i don't thing that genders matter in these games and i believe that to be because the writers preferred message was to let you become that helpless character and know that an average human can’t help themselves as show below in both the Dead Space game where the protagonist is a man and the game is Alien Isolation where the protagonist is a female.
when asking who is present and who is absent in survival horror games it is quite difficult because nobody is really left out. those who are usually left out in these games are those who are quite capable and aren’t as helpless or they are usually killed off in a manner that is almost a message to the player saying 'if they can’t do it then you can’t'.
Outlast
In Outlast, the player becomes Miles Upshur a journalist, as he navigates a psychiatric hospital overrun by homicidal patients called Variants who have lost all mentality and have went completely insane. A few to name would be Chris Walker "The soldier" who is a huge man who chases you down or Eddie Gluskin "The Groom" who tries to mutilate you and make you his bride. The game is first person and usually use a camcorder with a night vision to see. you can walk, run, crouch, jump, and climb over objects but you cant fight as to keep the horror effects.
Third Person Shooter:
Third-person shooter is a subgenre of 3D shooter games in which the player character is visible on the screen, and the gameplay consists mostly of shooting enemies or anything in general in the case of GTA V you are able to shoot anyone or anything you want.
GTA V
Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure game that is regularly played from a third-person view. Players complete missions throughout the story to progress. Outside of missions, players may freely roam the open world. The game has a huge focus on guns and weaponry with you being able to buy pretty much anything from guns to tanks and shoot who ever you want making it a very violent game.
First Person Shooter:
A FPS (First Person Shooter) is a video game where you use guns and shoot from the characters perspective. Which means the player experiences the action through the eyes of the protagonist making the game a lot more personal. In these games you screw usually heading into action and danger shooting all enemies, famous FPS games are CoD and Battlefield.
Overwatch
Overwatch is a MOBA like game (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) where the players fights in two teams of six. Each player selects one of several pre-defined hero characters with unique movement, attributes, and abilities such as Genji who is an offensive character, Bastion who is a defensive character, D.Va who is a tank and Lúcio who is a support character. Using these characters you work together in a team to secure and defend control points on a map and/or escort a payload across the map in a limited amount of time.
Puzzle:
These kinds of video games focus on solving puzzles, types of puzzles can test many problem-solving skills including logic, pattern recognition, sequence solving, and word completion, these can be made even more complex with mystery puzzle games like Zero time dilemma or simple ones like Tetris.
Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma
The game follows nine characters who have been locked up in an underground nuclear bomb shelter and are forced to play a death game called the Decision Game. the one in charge of the game is a person known as zero who wears a plague doctor mask. The shelter is divided into three wards, with three people making three teams in total and to escape the underground bunker which they have been trapped in they must play the game where if one of them dies a password is revealed and you need six password to escape and while you are stuck in the underground base you will have to play life or death games such as escaping a room or finding a antidote in time.

Simulation games are very small in number and usually include you simulating and managing businesses. These games are designed to closely simulate aspects of a real business such as football manager or they could be more fantasy oriented like RPG tycoon, they could even be more creative like Sims where you literally simulate life.
Game Dev Tycoon
Game Dev Tycoon is like any other tycoon game you take the place of a game designer working out of your garage and you go through the years creating different games on different consoles. after accumulating money you are able to upgrade your base, add employees and level up your skills allowing you to manage this business that went from you in your garage to over a dozen people in a huge building.

The fire emblem series is a grid based strategy JRPG. Within this game you take the place of a amnesiac character that you can name yourself (named Robin in other games), Robin then meets Chrom and while with Chrom they get attacked and Robin finds out that he has a extensive knowledge of tactics and becomes the parties tactician allowing you to control all the characters on the board. Within this game you can marry any two characters, recruit more characters and other features.
Role Playing Game:
A role-playing game is a video game genre where the player controls the actions of a character and pretty much creates that character from scratch and takes control of that person’s life, by doing that you have taken a role in that world. These features allow for replayability and immersion because you are able to get a different experience every time you play some of them even have different endings such as The Witcher 3.
Pokemon Sun and Moon
Pokemon Sun and Moon is the latest entry of the hugely popular Pokemon series. The MC moves abroad to the Alola region and just like any game you pick a starter Pokemon (Litten, Rowlet and Popplio). Throughout the game you catch and train Pokemon all throughout the game while going through trials to become the regions Pokemon champion during the journey you fight agains evil enemies and almost alien like creatures called ultra beasts.
